Q: What kinds of pieces do you finish?Right now I'm focused on pillows — turning your finished canvas into a beautifully made pillow for your home. Check back in the future for additional finishing services.Q: How do I get started?Fill out the Start Your Custom Order form with a few details and photos of your canvas, and then we will connect for a brief phone call to finalize the details.Q: How long does finishing take?Turnaround varies by project and season, but I'll always give you a clear timeline as part of your quote. Right now, I am estimating 6 weeks from when I receive your canvas.Q: How much will it cost?The cost depends on a variety of factors such as size, shape, and trim. Here is a pricing guide as a starting point. Your custom quote will be provided after completing the form.Q: Do you require a deposit?Yes. Once your quote is finalized, I'll send you an invoice for a 50% deposit. This is due at the same time you ship your canvas, fabric, and trim. The remaining balance is due with your final invoice, along with return shipping.Q: Do I need to provide my own fabric?Yes — at this time, clients provide their own fabric and trim. If you're not sure what to choose, I'm happy to offer guidance as part of your consultation.Q: Do I need to stitch extra rows around my design?Yes, please stitch a few extra rows of background beyond your design on all sides. Without them, part of your design can get lost in the seam allowance during finishing.Q: Do you block the canvas?Yes — blocking is part of the process. Before finishing begins, your canvas is blocked to square it up and restore its shape, so the final piece lies flat and true.

Meet the hands behind every finish.

I've been making things with my hands for as long as I can remember — cross stitch at my mother's side, crochet under my grandmother's guidance, always surrounded by sewists and crafters who never seemed to stop working with their hands. I didn't just learn stitches from them; I absorbed years of skill, patience, and quiet creativity just by watching. I'm still carrying that forward.I spent my career in nonprofit operations before deciding it was time to make more room for that creative thread I'd carried since childhood — quilting, needlepoint, and eventually, finishing. This business feels less like a new direction and more like a calling I'm finally answering.To me, finishing a canvas is the start of something — a relationship, really. You hand me a piece you've spent months stitching, and I get to carry it the rest of the way: from canvas to something you'll use and live with.
